Hi everybody,

I am totally new to MAMBO, I saw mambo site and was very much impress by it that is the reason I would like to try myself for my personal website. I dowloaded MAMBO, unzip it and uploaded to my webserver everything is fine. Then I started the Installation, Step 1, Step 2, passed easily without any problem, there was some minute table creation (sql syntax) problem for one of the table, which I managed to create by using phpMyAdmin, which I have installed on my server, and I managed it. After that, I typed myself the URL for installation Step 3, where I have to provide URL, Path, Email and Admin Pass. When I fill this all info and press next button, there is an error "Database details provided are incorrect and/or empty" and then loop back to the step 3.
When I checked my database throught phpMyAdmin, I can see 35 tables Mambo has created successfully.
Please guide me, by the way, I am following, www.mambotutorials.com and my webhosting company is windows based uses HELM control panel.

What to do next, I am waiting for feedback from you all!!! THANKS!!!!

Are you sure the hostname, username and password are all correct? If they did not get written to configuration.php it will fail.

I'm going to guess it would probably be easier to delete everything and start from scratch.
