SAN FRANCISCO - Facebook has a won $873 million judgment against a Canadian man who bombarded the popular online hangout with sexually explicit "spam" messages.

The victory, sealed with a judge's order issued last Friday, probably won't yield a windfall for privately held Facebook Inc., whose revenue this year is expected to range between $250 million to $300 million.

Court records indicate the alleged spammer, Adam Guerbuez of Montreal, has been difficult to find since Facebook sued him four months ago.

So much for him to take...it ll be a long exile....:P

Wow ! Thanks for sharing. I have never heard about this news. I like to know more and more about Facebook as we know that it is at the first rank now a days and everybody staying connected to Facebook daily.

I wonder what if that man cannot pay a fine?

Yeah. Facebook deserves it because we can have very few spammer in facebook as compared to other social websites. This all credit goes to Facebook development department by which facebook has got this prize.
