How to create flash or normal image gallery

Hi
I saw image gallery on many websites
It is just like website headers with photos in it which can be moved to left or right by clicking on arrows.
I want to know how to create it?
Does anyone know online tutorial for it?
I think it is also called as java-script image slider

Nice share ! Thanks for advising. Even i also want to create Flash Menu for my game website. Because simple Menu will not looks good for Game website so i think Flash Menu will be the best option.

You'll need to create an external data source to store references to you external images. You can do this in either XML or use flash remoting to locate your images.

There is no way of making this fast in any connection. The best you could do would be to preload each image as it's downloaded.
