Default Introduce Yourself

This is a thread for you to stop by and introduce yourself. Let everyone know how long you've been using Mambo, what your website is, anything you find interesting about yourself.

I'll start with myself. I'm Doyle Lewis, coowner of mambo-hosting.com, LLC and BuyHTTP Internet Services. I have also done several of the tutorials for www.mambodemo.com. I am on the team at MamboHut.com. I have released several GPL CMTs and am an active member at the official forums.

Hi, my name is Mark Joyce...and I'm a Mamboholic. I've been a user for almost three years now.

It all started when I lost my job as a certified orthotist, back in 2000. Down on my luck, and not wanting to move away, I decided to learn some web publishing sometime in 2001 and started to get some paid jobs. A year later I stumbled upon Mambo and haven't looked back.

I bid on a job to create a template and custom modules for www.gegax.com and after that, the guy who hired me offered to retain me to do mambo work for him full-time. I was working a couple part-time jobs and developing nights and weekends, so I jumped at the opportunity. Now I am an official Mambo junkie!

I'm a moderator on the official forums and an admin at mambers.com...I guess once a Mamboholic...always a Mamboholic!

My name is Danny G Smith. My day job is a UNIX Sys Adm for a non-profit medical research company. I manage the SGI, Linux machines for a number of departments. I have background in HP 9000, Solaris, SGI, and various distrobutions of Linux. I discovered Mambo about 10 months ago when I needed to setup a website at work. I have been lurking around ever since.

I am on the MamboHut team and post blogs concerning new templates, and maintain the gallery, and demo areas.

this is fun...

my name is Les Danks, I've been a member of the mambo community for 18 months, I work in Information Systems in the Education sector, but I'm spoon fed and my e-knowledge is minimal (I contribute little and understand even less )

I'd like to think I officially hound the likes of Raul and Mark so they don't have any time to live life outside of mambo.

I'm an old school overclocker, miniature painter, and player of 3 chords on the guitar in my spare time. I have three kids for sale.
