I am setting up a web site on westhost and am using Joomla as my CMS. I will be setting up a site that's a e-commerce site that has many articles, reviews by users, etc. but as well there will be a shopping cart (store) section to this web site. I have been told by many that VirtueMart works well with Joomla but as well am open to other ideas. Westhost by default supports MIVA which is very expensive. As well, they support oscommerce which I've heard is popular. I just want something that is flexible but easy to use but most of all well supported so that I won't be having to change to another system within a year.

We use VirtueMart and have many customers who do as well. It works very well with Joomla, as long as it supports all the features you need.

I used some other carts that weren't integrated in Joomla before but tried Virtuemart a month ago and it seems to work fine.
