sorry, i forgot that. No he doesn't give an error.

after the install i get nothing

see this picture:

i think it has something to do with size of the components. now i can install small components like alias, template manager, but components like remository, simpleboard, akocomment not.

Strange, if you can install a small component you should be able to install large ones, unless you ran out of disk space but even the large components are not that large.

You might want to check disk space usage.

Could be really strict php size limits in place at your host. Try adding something like this to your .htaccess file:

Code:
php_value upload_max_filesize 4M php_value post_max_size 4M php_value max_execution_time 900

Check your error_log files for any errors related to the installation, otherwise ask your host for help

Question Simular Issue, but I can't install anything (Com, Mod, or Bot)

Running Mambo 4.5.3 w/ mySQL... Custom Template... No other issues...

Error message with trying to upload .zip:
Upload component - Upload Failed
ERROR: Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

Upload component - Failed
Installation file not found:
/home/virtual/site303/fst/var/www/html/media/install_43b8c3de02fa5/

I've verified that Gzip and Gunzip are installed...
When I try to install manualy I told that I can't create a directory, but my CHMOD is 777...

Any thoughts?...
Brad
