Hi Guys,

I have a same kind of problem. First i just could not install because Joomla told me that there was nog installation. That problem is fixed. But now it seems to work and then Joomla screams that he cannot make a directory (where he want to install).

Upload new component - Error
Failed to create directory "/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/lekenlinge.nl/web_users/leerlingenraad/components/com_joomlaboard/"

If anybody has a clua about what is going on? Permission for components is 777 by the way

I was able to finally figure out, (at least in my situation) it was because my host had PHP in Safe-Mode. As soon as they changed that I had absolutly no problems!

Check in your admin pannel to see if php is in safe mode, if so ask your host to change it... if they won't find another host!
