Default Video Streaming !

Hi,

Im searching for a Component/Module or even a bot to stream video's.
They have to login and it has to count how many times the movie has been watched.

Tried Silex Video and more... nothing worked yet

Thx Denn

Hi Denn,
may be not 100% exactly matching your requirements but you may have a look at the module I wrote to meet my requirements. It works on Joomla and Mambo though the way of tweaking the upload through the media manager is different for theese CMS and the location of the path when doing it through the media manager onwards is also different. But if you are familiar to the scp command line tool you will get immediate clip streaming. The clips will be choosen arbitrarily from a bunch you put in a directory of your choice. Pass additional parameter for the streaming like Loop=true Controller = false or others for the final presentation. Before downloading you might look at schwarzecker to check how it is working. The tweaking parameters for the media manager may be found here. Though this is weritten for Joomla in an SME Server environment I suppose you will manage the workaround for Mambo.

Default Video Streaming...

Gerald:

You mentioned a module you have made for Video streaming. How can I take a look at this and see if it will work for my application?
