Hobby is a luxury

What is a hobby? It is a favourite pastime. However people don’t have enough time for it nowadays. Work takes all our energy: we come home from work, have supper and go to bed. Let’s have a look at working day of an average Russian and find an hour for hobby. He gets up at six o’clock, at seven-thirty he is on his way to work. At eight o’clock he is in the office. He leaves it at six or seven pm. And gets into the traffic-jam. There he spends about an hour. He gets home tired, hungry, angry and sleepy. The situation is even worse if there are children in the family to pay attention to, to play with and to take care of, saying nothing of regular housework everybody is supposed to do. It’s eleven o’clock. Shall he do some hobby?.. Let’s put it off till the weekend. And what about shopping and visiting parents and parents-in-law?
The answer is to choose your career in the field of your hobby. Otherwise having a hobby will always be a luxury you will never be able to afford.
