Default Non-Default SMTP port

Alright... So here's the lowdown on the hoe-down.

I want to use my Gmail account for my website administration. I don't have access to "conventional" email server. The only issue with Gmail, is that they use port 587 (or something like that), instead of the normal port 25.\

Is there any kind of work-around for Joomla! for this kind of issue???

If you look through the source of the phpMailer class I'm sure you can change the port. You may also want to consider submitting this to Joomla, it shouldn't be tough to implement.
