Default download page

xxxxo,

how will i be able to download a page for editing thru dreamweaver. I used the mosce editor's html mode but not able to get the Barnes and Noble affliations script work properly. They recommend to download the page, edit it and then upload it back.
the content is a static content page.
so when i follow the url yogurteria.net/content/view/44/69/

I dont see any folder of content or view thru ftp. so the question is where is the this page ??

Thanks for all your input.

MJ

The content is all stored in the database so you can not download it. This is what I would suggest:

1. Turn off the editor.

2. Go to the content item and copy the code into Dreamweaver.

3. Fix any problems with it.

4. Paste the new code back into the content item.

5. Save.

6. Turn back on the editor.

Many of the editors have problems if you have any sort of javascript or other code in your content, it will strip a lot of it out.

To add to keliix06's advice:

If you are already comfortable with DW, the editors in Mambo may be a nuisance to you. The first thing I do on a new Mambo project is shut off the editor. That way you can trust the code and see what is going on.

Let us know how you make out.

Cheers,

David

Thanks forthe inputs,
It worked pretty well after diabling the wysiwyg editor. may be now i can start entering the kanoodle ads. hmm.

I will still need to play around with the width of the BN link to get it fit on the screen properly. you can view it at
info4jewelry.com/content/view/44/69/

Thanks once again
