here is a script I wrote to offer a paid remote backup service. I have not 100% automated it yet but since we have a medium size client based with only a few dozen wanting remote backups it is fine.
What is the difference between your script and WHM remote FTP backup?
Um I wrote mine haha. The remote cpanel one if Iam not mistaken will only work with user accounts and will not remotely back up cpanel configs. In vs two of my script we are writign in the functions to backup the whole cpanel backup ie users and configs remotely. This first one was done to offer paid remote back up service.
