I have a user on a local box that uses pop and has his email set to stay on the server. He reads his email from multiple machines. He does not like the idea of imap where he has to connect to look at email that has already been downloaded. He is currently using mailx -f mbox and is trimming his email. The problem, the next time he starts his pop client, it redownloads his old email. He is also resistant to change MD/PHD....
